A Venezia il Transnational Project Meeting del progetto DART4HUMANITY

The Transnational Project Meeting for the DART4HUMANITY project (code 2024-1-ES01-KA220-HED-000252772) has concluded in Venice.

The event, held on November 17 and 18, featured representatives from all partner organizations involved in this Erasmus+ funded initiative.

The core objective of the DART4HUMANITY project is the validation and implementation of the STEAM4HUMANITY methodology (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) within European university curricula, promoting a global and interdisciplinary approach. This methodology involves the full integration of the Arts (A) and Humanities (H) with technical-scientific disciplines (STEM), while also incorporating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into study programs.

During the two-day meeting, partners from Cyprus, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain defined the strategic direction for the upcoming development phases, focusing on two crucial areas:

  • SDG Integration: A process was established to create teaching modules and STEAM projects that incorporate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring that educational innovation is closely linked to social responsibility.
  • Methodological Updates: Actions were outlined to raise awareness among faculty regarding the importance of updating university teaching and assessment methods. This includes integrating STEAM subjects as much as possible to prepare students for the challenges of the future labor market and society.

The Venice meeting represents a fundamental milestone for the project’s progress, laying the groundwork for disseminating key results to teachers, students, policymakers, and the European academic community.
